What is a Memory Cafe?

A Memory Cafe is a social gathering place where individuals with memory loss, mild cognitive impairment, early Alzheimer’s, or other dementia, can come together. Family and friend are encouraged to join!

We meet once a month in a relaxed environment ot visit, share common interests, and enjoy refreshments. Each monthly cafe is unique and offers a program or activity that’s stimulating and fun. Activities will be chosen by participants, depending on interests.

If you require assistance to participate, please have someone accompany you.

How do I participate?

You may call ahead for more information and directions, or just come! You can contact The Alzheimer’s and Dementia Alliance state office at 608.232.3400 or toll-free at 1.888.308.6251.

How is it funded?

We are grateful to all the participants, volunteers, partners, financial contributors, and host site that make these Memory Cafes possible.

There is no charge to attend any of the Memory Cafes, but donations are welcome to help cover costs.
