Mauston Office Donates Caregiver Books to local Library

The ADRC of Eagle Country-Mauston Office recently donated Caregiver Assistance books to all 5 public libraries in Juneau County in celebration of Caregiver Month.  These resource books will provide hands-on practical ideas on care for frail elders.  One book is geared to general caregiving information and the second focuses on care of persons with chronic heart disease.  Heart Disease is one of the identified high risk areas in Juneau County by recent public health index ratings.  Resources such … Read More

Big Changes coming to the Mauston Office! National Resource Center Provides Training on LGBT Aging

On August 23rd selected ADRC of Eagle Country staff,  two Governing Board Members and some local providers attended a four (4) hour workshop on Improving the Quality of Services and Supports Offered to LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or transgender)  Older Adults. The Mauston Office participates in NOW 92.1 FM’s Million Penny Challenge!

(Click on the pictures below to enlarge them) Last Thursday was an exciting day for the Mauston ADRC Office! They had the privilege of being  a host for NOW 92.1 FM's Million Penny Challenge. The station embarked on this effort to try and raise one-million pennies ($10,000) for the American Cancer Society. 92.1 drove around to local businesses and gave them a chance to promote their services, and allowing community members to stop by and drop off donations.
